The possibility of using a flat surface for the construction of a photovoltaic system enables the placement of the modules in keeping with the most advantageous azimuth, without needing to take into account the actual orientation of the building.

While offering many project opportunities, however, installing equipment on flat roofs requires careful assessment of the actual space available, to avoid panel shading and to ensure the passage of maintenance personnel.

PV on sloping roof

The production of a photovoltaic system on industrial pitched or sloping roofs requires the implementation of a detailed study to identify the best system solution in terms of modules, support structures and inverters

Removal of asbestos and roof renewal

Asbestos roof coverings are unfortunately very common in Italian industrial buildings of the 1950-1990 period. Since 2005, we have built several PV systems integrated in redeveloped roof coverings following asbestos removal.

Electro-technical knowledge: lay-out and system configuration

Construction knowledge: site conditions and the identification of best solutions in terms of enclosures

Mechanical knowledge: choice and assembly of support structures

Computer knowledge: configuration and implementation of remote-controlled management

Ground based PV system with fixed structures

Our photovoltaic grounded based systems confirm the design and construction quality that ME | Making Energy has acquired in years of experience.

Ground based PV with solar trackers

In recent years, the technology of tracker photovoltaic systems has widely developed, particularly as a result of the emergence of photovoltaic markets in southern Europe and the consequent appearance of new manufacturers capable of supplying new tracker models.

Monitoring and control of photovoltaic system

The management and remote monitoring of a photovoltaic system allows for real-time control of the parameters that affect system performance and for the timely implementation of maintenance and protection of the system’s performance and profitability, with obvious economic benefits.

Check ME is the monitoring and remote control system developed by ME | Making Energy, in cooperation with the Turin Polytechnic Institute, and installed on all of our systems.

Benefits

Constant monitoring of all main system parameters.

Testing, isolation and quantification of the environmental and technological factors influencing the profitability of the system over time.

Customer has remote access to all system displays, for first hand system process verification.

Specific displays according to system features and customer’s requirements.

Generation of periodical reports covering system performance, availability and proper program management of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.

see the video on Check ME
